Amy Stengel is responsible for managing the client services teams in the Traditional Entity Management group, which provide a full array of administrative and nexus services for special purpose vehicles with situs in Delaware and Nevada. Amy serves as a corporate director and officer for many client companies, and also serves as an independent director for special purpose vehicles.
Stengel joined Wilmington Trust in 2006 with expertise in special purpose services for domestic jurisdictions, management of intellectual property, and business planning strategies. Earlier in her career, Stengel spent seven years with a boutique law firm that practiced primarily in the areas of special purpose vehicles and multi-state tax planning. Most recently, Stengel served as in-house counsel for a Delaware holding company structure with trademark management and licensing activities, as well as international and domestic financing and acquisition activities.
Stengel holds a Juris Doctor from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. She is admitted to practice law in Nevada and is an active member of the Nevada Bar Association. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and its Business, Tax and Intellectual Property Sections.
Stengel serves as Chair of the Marketing Committee of the Delaware Captive Insurance Association.
