Christophe Schroeder is responsible for managing the development and expansion of Wilmington Trust's Corporate Client Services business in Europe, which includes all aspects of European sales, service, and operations in London, Dublin, Luxembourg and Frankfurt. This also includes our strategic alliance relationships in Milan, Amsterdam and the Channel Islands. In addition, Schroeder is responsible for Corporate Client Services in the Cayman Islands.
Schroeder has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2006, he served as Senior Vice President and Sales Manager of the Capital Management Group of Wachovia Bank. There he held global responsibility for generating new business, developing new institutional trust products, and forming strategic alliances with key service providers. Earlier in his career, Schroeder held positions at other global financial services organizations, specializing in structured finance.
Schroeder holds an MBA in international finance from American University and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of New Hampshire. He is fluent in English and French and speaks conversationally in German and Spanish.
