Clement (Clem) Miller is portfolio manager for the Wilmington Multi-Manager International Fund at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank. He is also the primary analyst for the selection of third-party investment managers for international equities and fixed income, including emerging markets, and is a voting member of the the firm's Investment Committee.
Previously, Miller was team leader for export finance in M&T Bank’s international trade finance group. Earlier in his career he held several positions at the Export-Import Bank of the United States in Washington, D.C., including manager of the workouts division, loan officer, and country risk analyst. Miller served as a member of a U.S. delegation to international trade negotiations, and was a member of the Credit Committee, which reviewed all transactions over $10 million. Prior to joining the Export-Import Bank, he was an international economist with Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates, Inc., which was later incorporated into IHS Global Insight.
Clement holds a master’s degree from George Washington University in Finance and International Business, and a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst™ (CFA) designation in 2001.
He served two terms as president of the Baltimore CFA Society, and currently serves as treasurer.
