Rich Marsh is responsible for managing Wilmington Trust’s Upstate New York Region, including all administrative and business development functions for personal trust and investment management. In this role he oversees the development and coordination of wealth management services for prominent individuals, families, and foundations. Marsh and his team work closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies that help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.
Marsh is a seasoned professional with more than two decades of experience in financial services. During his career with M&T Bank, which acquired Wilmington Trust in 2011, Marsh has served as a sales manager for the Syracuse, Upstate, and Metro New York regions for M&T Securities; as regional sales manager of the Finger Lakes Division; as New York market manager; and as the area manager for Western New York and Rochester.
Marsh holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Industrial Labor Relations. He also currently holds his New York Life, Annuity, and Health Insurance licenses, as well as the Series 6,7, 24, 63, 65 and 53 FINRA licenses.
Marsh served on the Liverpool, New York Little League board and is a former member of the CNY United Way Board.
