Timothy Gillespie is responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, entrepreneurs, and foundations and endowments. As Market Executive for Wilmington Trust in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware, he manages a group of professionals with expertise in Investment Management, Fiduciary Services, Wealth Planning, and Private Banking. Gillespie and his team work closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies that help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives. Regional wealth management teams under Gillespie’s supervision include those in Philadelphia, Central/Western and Northern Pennsylvania, Southeast Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 1997, Gillespie specialized in wealth management, commercial banking, and custom lending for two national financial services organizations. He holds a Master’s in Finance from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Marketing from La Salle University.

Gillespie is a member of the Estate Planning Councils for Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties, the Central Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, and the Union League of Philadelphia. He serves as a Board member for the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and the Finance Committee for Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School. He also serves on the Finance Committee for Mary Mother of the Redeemer Parish in North Wales, Pennsylvania, and is an active member of the Men of LaSalle High School and the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
