Wilkes-Barre, PA – June 11, 2020 –Wilmington Trust, a leader in wealth management and corporate and institutional services, is pleased to announce that Vice President Dave Shimshock is being promoted to senior wealth advisor. Dave will be responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and foundations and endowments in the Northeast and Central Pennsylvania regions. Based in Wilkes-Barre, Dave will oversee the local offices, working closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies that seek to help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.
Dave has more than 30 years of experience in the banking/financial services industry. Most recently, he was a client/banking advisor for the Wealth Management segment at PNC Bank, where he provided insight and guidance to the bank’s Wealth Management clients and prospects.
Dave holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
