Wilmington Trust hired Peter Carnathan as a private client advisor for its Wealth Advisory office in Washington, D.C.
Wilmington Trust hired Peter Carnathan as a private client advisor for its Wealth Advisory office in Washington, D.C. Carnathan is the fifth addition to the firm’s team in the district over the past year.

Carnathan joins Wilmington Trust with over 20 years of experience assisting families with their wealth management needs in the Greater Washington area. Most recently he was with Fiduciary Trust Company, where he served as managing director and business development officer.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland, and earned the designations of Certified Financial Planner™ and Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM.

Carnathan is a member of the Financial Planning Association of the National Capital Area. He also served on the board of Hearts and Homes for Youth in Silver Spring, Md., is the immediate past president at Adventure Theater in Glen Echo, Md., and was chair of the Washington Adventist Hospital Planned Giving Council.
