Wilmington Trust Adds Senior Fiduciary Advisor
Wilmington Trust, one of the leading wealth management companies headquartered in the U.S., announced it has hired Darlene Marchesani Baris, as vice president and senior fiduciary advisor in the company’s Fiduciary Services Group. Baris is re-joining Wilmington Trust’s Wealth Advisory Services (WAS) business, where she previously served as vice president and senior trust advisor.
 
“We are pleased to welcome Darlene back to Wilmington Trust,” said Mark Graham, executive vice president and head of Wealth Advisory Services. “Her expertise and experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients in various estate planning techniques complement our team of leading trust and estate professionals.”
 
In her new role, Baris will work closely with staff in Wilmington Trust’s offices throughout the U.S., particularly California and New York, providing solutions to complex estate planning issues and fiduciary administration of Delaware Trusts to ultra-high-net-worth clients. Prior to re-joining Wilmington Trust, she was a vice president and senior trust and fiduciary officer at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in Beverly Hills, Calif. and Houston, Texas.
 
Earlier in her career, Baris practiced law as an associate attorney with several Philadelphia area law firms, including Reed Smith and Richards, Layton and Finger. She earned both her Juris Doctor and LL.M. in Taxation from Widener University School of Law. Baris received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.
 
Baris will report to Tess Pietrucci, vice president and head of Trust Administration for Wilmington Trust.
