Managing Director for Wealth Advisory in the Delaware Market
Wilmington Trust appointed Anthony Lunger as managing director for Wealth Advisory in the Delaware market, overseeing a team of wealth advisors across the state.

Having joined the firm in 1999, Lunger works closely with commercial banking officers and trust professionals to provide wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, and executives. He works closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies designed to help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.

“Tony is an excellent leader on our Wealth Advisory team,” said Mark Graham, executive vice president of Wilmington Trust’s Wealth Advisory Services. “Tony’s experience and dedication to our clients in Delaware will continue to benefit our team and the market.”

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 1999, Lunger was manager of the Reader Services Department at U.S. News & World Report in Washington, DC. Before that, he worked in the Foreign Policy Division of the Heritage Foundation, a Washington think-tank.

He earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Maryland, and received his bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Lake Forest College. Lunger currently holds his Series 6 and 63 securities licenses, Certified Trust and Financial Advisor accreditation, as well as his Delaware Life and Health Insurance license.

Lunger is a board member and treasurer for both the Delaware Estate Planning Council and the World Affairs Council of Wilmington. He also serves on the boards of the Wilmington Library Institute and the Eleutherian Mills Residence Committee, and is a former board member of the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation.
