O’Donnell will work with clients in Central New York and Southern Tier regions

SYRACUSE, NY — Wilmington Trust appointed Julia O’Donnell as a private banker for its office in Syracuse, N.Y. She will coordinate deposit and lending services in the Central New York and Southern Tier regions to high-net-worth clients including individuals, families, business owners, and executives.
 
Prior to her new position, O’Donnell was a commercial branch manager in Syracuse for M&T Bank, which Wilmington Trust is an affiliate. Before that, she was a business development officer at M&T Bank, and a business banking specialist at HSBC.
 
“We’re excited to add Julia to our private banking team,” said Ann Silverman, private banking group manager at Wilmington Trust. “Julia’s knowledge of personal banking and the Syracuse region makes for a smooth transition into her new role. Her expertise will be very helpful to our clients.”
 
O’Donnell received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix, and is currently working on her MBA at Syracuse University. She also holds the New York State Life Insurance accreditation.
 
She is active in the community volunteering with the Salvation Army of Syracuse Young Leaders. Also, she graduated in the 2014 class of Leadership Greater Syracuse, and was recognized as a “40 Under Forty” honoree by Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
