Vice President of Business Development in Global Markets

Wilmington Trust hired Vito Iacovazzi as vice president of Business Development with the company’s Global Capital Markets division. He will market corporate trust services, including indenture trustee, successor trustee, and loan agent services, as well as collateral agent, escrow agent, and restructuring related services to clients. He will be based in Wilmington Trust’s New York office.

Iacovazzi brings nearly 30 years of corporate trust experience to his new role at Wilmington Trust. Most recently, he spent 16 years as a senior vice president of business development with Wells Fargo’s Corporate and Restructuring Services Group. Previously, he worked for Fleet National Bank in business development and corporate trust roles.

“Vito has a tremendous reputation in the restructuring and capital markets industry, and we are looking forward to expanding our influencer base with his vast knowledge, solid relationships, and experience,” said Jack Beeson, head of Wilmington Trust’s Global Capital Markets group.

Iacovazzi earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University, and a master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Hartford.

He has been a contributing editor with the American Bankruptcy Institute, and is a member of the Turnaround Managers Association.

In his free time, Iacovazzi is an avid golfer and triathlete, having competed in over 30 multisport races including the 2010 Ironman and the 2012 Olympic Distance Age Group National Championship.
