Boston, MA – August 5, 2020–Wilmington Trust, a leader in wealth management and corporate and institutional services, announces the promotion of Catey Toner to senior wealth advisor, responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and foundations and endowments throughout the New England region. Based in Boston, Catey will continue to work closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies to help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.
Catey has more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth families and has been with Wilmington Trust since 2009, having most recently served as relationship manager. Earlier in her career, she was a vice president at Atlantic Trust and a trust and investment specialist at Mellon Bank.
Catey holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wheaton College and has also earned the Certified Financial Planner® designation. A member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association, Catey also volunteers for Ethos, a money management program in Boston where she helps low-income elders manage their finances.
