NEW YORK—Mary McGovern has joined Wilmington Trust as a senior private banker in the company’s office in Iselin, N.J. In this role, she will provide complex lending strategies and cash management advice to high-net-worth clients. She will also be responsible for coordinating a broad range of specialized services available through Wilmington Trust’s Wealth Advisory team and M&T Bank.

McGovern has nearly two decades of experience in private banking* and providing financial advice. Before joining Wilmington Trust, she spent 13 years at U.S. Trust, where she served as a senior vice president and private client manager. Previously, she held positions at Chase and Merrill Lynch as well.

“Mary is a strong addition to our New Jersey team,” said Jon Coppola, regional managing director at Wilmington Trust. “Her talent and experience in delivering integrated wealth management solutions will be instrumental in solving the complex banking, investment and planning needs of our clients.”

McGovern holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, and a Japanese language certificate from Keio University. She is also a Certified Financial Planner.
