Patrick Tadie Appointed Division Manager for Wilmington Trust’s Capital Markets Structured Finance Group

NEW YORK — Patrick Tadie has been promoted to division manager of Wilmington Trust’s Capital Markets Structured Finance Group (CMSF). The CMSF team provides agency and trustee services to the asset backed, mortgage backed, project finance, transportation leasing, and insurance-backed related markets. He will continue to be based in Wilmington Trust’s offices in New York City.

Tadie joined Wilmington Trust in 2014 as group vice president in the Structured Finance Group. He was responsible for global product development and global strategy for the Capital Markets Group, as well as managing the CMSF sales team.

He has nearly 30 years’ experience in finance. Previously, as a member of BNY Mellon’s Operating Committee, he led the global structured finance group, then the global derivatives division, and was global head of product and strategy, as well as chief credit officer for the Corporate Trust group. He was a portfolio manager at Freddie Mac, led the structured finance business at both First Union and Prudential Home Mortgage, and began his career at JPMorgan where he completed the bank’s financial management program.

“We’re very pleased that Patrick will be overseeing our structured finance business as division manager,” said Jack Beeson, head of the Global Capital Markets division. “Patrick has distinguished himself as a strong, capable leader both at Wilmington Trust and in the structured finance industry. I can’t think of anyone better suited for this leadership role.”

Tadie earned a master’s degree from George Washington University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Tadie is a regular speaker and panelist at global industry conferences on issues related to corporate trust, mortgages, and derivatives. He has published numerous articles on those topics.

He currently serves as chairman of executive committee and board of directors of Eden Autism Services in Princeton, N.J.

Tadie is based in Wilmington Trust’s offices at 166 Mercer St., Suite 2-R, in New York, and can be contacted at (212)941-4407.
