Rohit Malhotra Joins Wilmington Trust as Senior Private Banker in New York Office

NEW YORK—Wilmington Trust hired Rohit Malhotra as a senior private banker in the company’s office in New York City. In this role, he will provide complex lending strategies and cash management advice to high-net-worth clients.


He will also be responsible for coordinating a broad range of specialized services for clients through Wilmington Trust’s Wealth Advisory and M&T Bank partners.
 
Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Malhotra worked for Citibank for 20 years in various roles in the U.S. and abroad. Most recently, he was a senior vice president at Citi Private Bank’s Law Firm Group in New York City.
 
Malhotra earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Denison University and a chartered accountant qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He also holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 26, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
