Tracy Nickl Joins Wilmington Trust as National Head of Client Development and Engagement

Based in Los Angeles office, Nickl leads Wilmington Trust’s wealth management teams across U.S. in delivery of innovative, successful solutions to clients

LOS ANGELES—Wilmington Trust hired Tracy Nickl as national head of Client Development and Engagement for Wealth Advisory. Based in the company’s Los Angeles office, Nickl works with Wilmington Trust’s wealth management teams across the United States to deliver innovative, practical, and successful solutions to high-net-worth clients.

Nickl comes to Wilmington Trust with a track record as a leader in the wealth management industry—helping many successful families and their advisors protect and grow wealth. Previously, she worked for BNY Mellon as head of relationship development for asset servicing in the Americas, where she was responsible for driving approximately $180 million in new revenue annually for the company’s largest division. She was also a member of BNY Mellon’s Corporate Operating Committee.

Prior to that role, Nickl was a senior executive of the platinum client team in Global Client Management, where she headed the strategic partnership and service delivery for a select group of BNY Mellon’s key global clients representing annual revenue of approximately $250 million. Before that, she was executive director of sales for BNY Mellon’s Wealth Management, where she was responsible for sales force expansion and implementing best practices globally, including developing and delivering a successful proprietary client-centric team process.

Earlier in her career, Nickl was director of Wells Fargo’s Family Wealth Group in Southern California, overseeing 28 families with a minimum net worth of $50 Million.

“We are ecstatic about Tracy joining Wilmington Trust to help deliver high-quality solutions and a high-touch experience to our wealth management clients,” said Doris P. Meister, executive vice president of wealth management at Wilmington Trust. “Tracy has devoted a large portion of her career to studying the traits of successful advisors in delivering a holistic, positive client experience. Her continuing research and passion for improving client experience will benefit our teams and the clients they serve through our national boutique.”

Nickl is currently pursuing an Executive PhD through the University of Antwerp. She earned an MBA from Boston College, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and management from Simmons College. Additionally, she holds the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA).

She serves on the board of trustees for Providence Little Company of Mary Foundation, as well as the board of managers for the Ketchum-Downtown YMCA. She is a member of the Palos Verdes Woman’s Club, and Las Madrecitas, an auxiliary of the Charitable Children’s Guild of the Orthopædic Institute for Children.

She is based out of Wilmington Trust’s wealth management office in Los Angeles at 10250 Constellation Blvd., Suite 2800, and can be contacted at 310-300-3043.
