Wilmington Trust Awarded “Collateral Service Provider of the Year” at European & UK Captive Review Awards

Sixth award in three years recognizing Wilmington Trust’s insurance collateral service

WILMINGTON, DEL—Wilmington Trust was awarded “Collateral Service Provider of the Year” at the 2018 European & UK Captive Review Awards hosted by industry publication Captive Review. This is the sixth award in three years recognizing Wilmington Trust’s service to the captive, reinsurance, and insurance-linked securities industries.

 
Wilmington Trust, N.A.’s Insurance Collateral Solutions team was recognized at the ceremony on Nov. 13, held in Luxembourg. Robert Quinn, client development leader in the company’s Global Capital Markets group, accepted the award, which recognizes Wilmington Trust’s service and commitment to the captive industry in Europe and the United Kingdom.
 
“We are both delighted and honored to be recognized for our efforts to produce a service of true quality and value for our clients, to whom we remain eternally grateful,” said Quinn.
 
Among those considered for this award were banks offering letters of credit, collateral trusts, and investment management services within collateral accounts. Captive Review award winners are selected by a panel of judges chosen for their industry expertise, as well as their absence of conflicts of interest. Service providers are judged on a number of factors including service, responsiveness, innovation, and value to the industry, based on feedback from industry professionals.
 
“While we always strive to improve our service and product offerings, I am delighted to pause to acknowledge the great work of our Insurance Collateral Solutions team,” said Jack Beeson, head of Wilmington Trust’s Global Capital Markets division. “As this was an award based on peer and client input, we feel very honored.”
 
The Insurance Collateral Solutions team has been providing collateral trustee services for a wide variety of insurance, reinsurance, captive, and ILS clients both in the United States and globally for 18 years.
