Linden will oversee Collateral Management as part of Institutional Custody business
NEW YORK — Wilmington Trust hired Scott Linden as product leader for its Collateral Management business within the Global Capital Markets division. Based in Wilmington Trust’s office in Manhattan, he’ll oversee Collateral Management as part of the Institutional Custody business. He is responsible for administration of the business, as well as product development and growth.
Linden has over three decades of experience in financial services, and has worked in the collateral management space in various roles for nearly 20 years. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, he was director of Collateral Management consulting at Perficient. Before that, he worked at BNY Mellon as Collateral Management product manager. Linden also was employed by Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch earlier in his career.
“We are thrilled to add Scott Linden to our team,” said Amy Stengel, managing director of Institutional Administrative Services at Wilmington Trust. “Scott’s expertise will help position Wilmington Trust to be very competitive in the Collateral Management space, particularly as the financial markets prepare for the upcoming regulations for derivatives transactions.”
He has a master’s degree in Finance from Pace University, and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Rowan University. He serves on the collateral working group of the Asset Manager’s Forum for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA).
Linden is based in Wilmington Trust’s office at 166 Mercer St., New York, N.Y., and can be contacted at (212)941-4425.
